Writers C. Malcolm Ellsworth and William Trowbridge will share their works.
C. Malcolm Ellsworth’s work has appeared in The Christian Science Monitor, The Flint Hills Review, Scissors and Spackle, Blue Island Review, Stone Highway Review, and online editions of Everyday Other Things, Montucky Review, and The Medulla Review. The poem Wild Girl, Winter was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2013. She has a BA in English and an MFA in art from the University of Iowa.
William Trowbridge is the Poet Laureate of Missouri. His eight poetry books and chapbooks include Ship of Fool, The Complete Book of Kong and Flickers. His poems have appeared in more than 30 publications, including Poetry, The Georgia Review, The Southern Review, The Iowa Review, Prairie Schooner, and New Letters. His awards include an Academy of American Poet Prize, a Pushcart Prize, a Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference scholarship, and fellowships from The MacDowell Colony, Ragdale, Yaddo, and The Anderson Center. He holds a Ph.D. in English from Vanderbilt University, and teaches in the University of Nebraska low-residency MFA in writing program.
